Day 1 – Departure
Evening departure. Dinner and breakfast served on board.

Day 2  – Madrid + Prado Museum
Breakfast. Morning panoramic tour seeing La Plaza de España, La Puerta del Sol, Gran Vía, Cibeles, La Puerta de Alcalá, La Plaza Mayor, and more. This is followed by a guided visit to the Prado. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3 – Toledo – El Escorial
Breakfast. Morning visit to Toledo, see the Cathedral, Santo Tomé Church, El Greco’s “ The Burial of Count Orgaz,” the Synagogue, and a demasquinado factory. In the afternoon, visit El Escorial, the 16th century monastery-palace built by Felipe II. Return to Madrid for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 – Avila – Segovia
Breakfast. Depart for the medieval walls of Avila to see the city of the mystic – Santa Teresa. Then, on to visit Segovia with its Aqueduct and Alcázar. Continue to Burgos for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 – Burgos – Puente Viesgo
Breakfast. Morning visit of the Cathedral of Burgos and the Plaza Mayor. See the statues dedicated to the family of one of Spain’s legendary noblemen – El Cid. Afterwards, head for the town of Puente Viesgo, visit la Cueva del Castillo and view the Altamira like prehistoric paintings. On to Santander for dinner and overnight.

Day 6 – Santander – Santillana
Breakfast. Morning tour of Santander high-lighted by seeing el Palacio de la Magdalena. In the afternoon, visit Santillana del Mar, a medieval city. Dinner and overnight in Santander.

Day 7 – Bilbao – Zaragoza
Breakfast. Pass through Bilbao to get a glimpse of the Guggenheim. Then, on to Zaragoza for a tour of its famous Basilica. Dinner & overnight – Barcelona.

Day 8 – Barcelona – Gaudí
Breakfast. Morning panoramic tour seeing the Gothic Quarter, the Olympic Port and Village and a stroll down Las Ramblas. In the afternoon, see Casa Batlló, La Pedrera, La Sagrada Familia, and stop at Parc Guell. Visit the Picasso Museum. Dinner and overnight.

Day 9 – Departure
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
