Bravo’s Spanish Teacher Familiarization Scholarship Program is an initiative in cooperation with government and business entities wishing to provide Spanish teachers the opportunity to become more familiar with the culture and language of Spain.

This year’s initiative is designed to give Spanish teachers an open-ended forum. In this way, each teacher can individually explore their own areas of interest within the Spanish heritage. Teachers will be free to explore, first-hand, Spanish art, history, language, gastronomy, theater, etc.. Their time spent in Spain will enable them to enhance their knowledge and provide them a unique opportunity to develop lesson plans that will allow them to bring back their experiences to their students.

The Program Includes:
Round trip airfare
Arrival and departure transfers
Six nights accommodations based on double room occupancy at the
Hotel Palacio San Martín or similar
Six buffet breakfasts
Certificate of Participation
All taxes and service charges

Teachers should arrange with their districts and/or supervisors the requirements needed to obtain PIP (Professional Improvement Plan) or CEU (Continuing Education Units) accreditation. Please note, that in the past, local governments and municipalities have been very generous in offering either meals or sightseeing. Should these offers, once again, be made, it is expected that participants would avail themselves to them. Single rooms are available at a supplement.
