Enrollment – Anyone may enroll in one of our
tours by submitting a completed application (including a
signed agreement and release) and a $200 deposit to the
teacher-chaperone. In turn, the group organizer, will
forward all materials to Bravo. Reservations for your
group are made only upon receipt of your deposits and
signed applications.
Payments – After receipt of the initial deposit,
the remaining balance should be paid as follows: 40% of
the trip price paid to Bravo 120 days before departure.
Final payments are due no later than 70 days before
departure. Payments made less than 70 days prior to
departure will be charged a $100 late processing fee. In
addition, all payments sent to Bravo less than 70 days
prior to departure must be made by bank check or money
order. When making payment for these tours, checks
should be made to Bravo Tours, Inc. Checks returned to
Bravo will be charged a $50 processing fee and will
require replacement by a bank check or money order. All
Bravo prices reflect a 5% cash discount. For those
clients wishing to pay by credit card (American Express,
Visa, MasterCard), they will incur a price differential
representing the percentage rate of the cash discount
(5%).
In certain cases, usually when groups fall below ten
participants, the airlines may require us to purchase
the airline tickets within 24 to 72 hours of making
reservations. In those cases, Bravo will request from
you the corresponding airline ticket payment. This would
also apply to the hotel portion of your program should
the hotels require intermediate deposits.
Passport Numbers and Rooming Lists - Must be
provided at the time of final payment.
Cancellation and Refund Policy – Please read the
Agreement and Release.
Individual Travel – Individuals wishing to
deviate their travel plans from those of the group may
do so. However, they are subject to: 1. Availability of
space, 2. The applicable airline tariffs and charge
fees, 3. Receipt by Bravo of a notarized consent form
signed by the parents (in the case of participants under
18 years of age), 4. A $150 service charge per
participant, 5. All requests for deviations must be
sent, in writing, to Bravo Tours, at least 70 days prior
to departure. We will not entertain requests made less
than 70 days prior to departure, 6. Usually,
participants deviating from a group are not entitled to
the group tariffs associated with Bravo’s complete air
and land tour package, 7. Participants who deviate their
travel plans from the group may lose included services
such as, but not limited to, airport/hotel transfers,
hotel accommodations, meals, tours, and internal
domestic flights. Participants will not be compensated
for lost services which may result from the requested
deviation.
Airports – Many European departures originate and
terminate at New York’s JFK International Airport.
Therefore, when departure cities are listed in our
programs, this usually means that there is a domestic
flight in conjunction with the international flight. It
is not always feasible to obtain domestic flights to and
from your home city and JFK. Most domestic flights are
in and out of the other New York metropolitan airports
of LaGuardia and Newark. When this occurs,
transportation between airports is at your own expense.
Bravo, at your request, will obtain the lowest possible
price for your group. On international flights, groups
must be present at the airport at least 3 hours prior to
departure. When connecting flights are used in
conjunction with the international flight, we often
recommend a considerably longer period of lead time to
allow for airline delays. We feel that it is better to
arrive early than to miss an international flight.
Receipt of Documentation – Flight bags and
luggage tags are sent to the group organizer usually 15
days before departure. Travel documents (tickets and
applicable vouchers) are sent to the group organizer
usually 7 days before departure.
Financial Protection – For your protection, all
monies received by Bravo are deposited in a special
account at the Wachovia Bank.
Prices and Guarantees – Bravo has consistently
offered some of the lowest prices in the field without
sacrificing the quality of services. However, remember
that prices nevertheless are based on group costs and
are subject to fluctuating air tariffs, currency
exchange, and group size. Bravo will guarantee that
should a price increase, participants may pay the price
difference or may withdraw from the program without
incurring cancellation penalties as long as no penalties
have been assessed Bravo. Bravo dos not charge
application fees or adult supplements.
Services Included in Our Programs
1. Round Trip Jet Air Transportation
Our programs are generally based on the following
airlines: Iberia, American, Delta, Continental, Air
Portugal, British Airways and others.
2. Local Representation
A local representative of Bravo Tours will meet and
assist your group. We find that our groups are always
assured by the fact that although they may be thousands
of miles away from home, a local in-country
representative is there to meet their needs.
3. Round Trip In-Country Transfers
As indicated in the itinerary.
4. Flight Bag
Bravo will provide each participant with a flight bag
that may be carried on the airplane or motor-coach. This
bag will also be used for in-country group
identification.
5. Luggage Tags
According to governmental regulations all passenger
luggage must carry identification tags. These colored
tags will also be used for in-country group
identification.
6. Accommodations
We use tourist class to first class hotel
accommodations. The hotels we use are centrally located.
During the evening, your group will have no problem in
walking through the heart of the cities visited and then
strolling back to the hotel.
7. Room Occupancy
Accommodations are based on double and triple room
occupancy. Non-paying group organizers may request a
single room. When we send you our program price, room
pricing differential will be indicated.
8. Private Baths
All rooms have private baths.
9. Hotel Taxes and Service Charges
All room taxes, airline taxes, departure taxes, fuel
surcharges, and service charges are included in our
programs. These charges often range between $70 and $500
per participant. Please note that taxes and surcharges
are subject to change.
10. Meals
All our Spain programs include breakfast and dinner
daily, unless otherwise indicated. Lunch is included
when indicated in the itinerary.
11. Sightseeing
The basic reason for students participating on a
cultural tour is to receive in-depth sightseeing which
will culturally enrich their intellectual growth while
at the same time excite their senses. Bravo is proud to
say that the sightseeing provided in our programs has
successfully met this challenge. Also, we are flexible
enough to insure that groups wishing to modify
itineraries may do so.
12. Private Motor-coach
On local tours and log distance excursions private
motor-coaches are used. These coaches are equipped with
heating and air conditioning.
13. Local Licensed Bilingual Guides
Most countries require the use of local guides, and we
find that this is generally the best approach. Who
better than a local professionally trained native can
impart a true feeling to the area visited? Escorts are
not included in our tour programs
14. Insurance
All Spain programs are covered by A.S.T.E.S. – a full
medical and surgical program while in Spain. We strongly
recommend the purchase of optional travel insurance
which includes travel, accident, sickness, baggage, and
trip cancellation. The application form for this
insurance may be obtained on the Travel Safe Insurance
link on Bravo’s website. Insurance forms and premiums
are to be sent directly to the insurance company.
15. Mobile Phone
Bravo will provide your Spain group of 20 or more with a
mobile phone (one per group). You will receive the
telephone number prior to departure. In this way, you
may give this number to anyone you feel might need to
contact you or any member of your group in an emergency.
In Spain, incoming calls are not charged. Please
remember that callers are charged by their respective
carriers.
16. Tips and Porterage
These items are not included.
17. Options
The word option or optional means that the excursion,
meal or service in question may be taken but at an
additional cost.
