Morning tour of Toledo where you will visit the Cathedral, Santo Tomé Church, and see El Greco’s most famous painting, “The Burial of the Count Orgaz,” the Synagogue, Bisagra’s Gate, Alcántara’s Bridge and the Alcázar. After lunch, on to El Escorial, the 16th century monastery - palace and El Valle de los Caídos, Spain’s tribute to those who died during its Civil War. Late afternoon return to Madrid. Dinner and lodging.
Breakfast, Tour of Avila, the birthplace of St. Teresa, where you will visit St. Teresa’s Temple, the Convent of St. Thomas and the Cathedral. Then, on to the typically Castillian city of Segovia, with its universally famous Roman Aqueduct and its magnificent Alcázar. Lunch is included. Late afternoon return to Madrid. Dinner and lodging.
Breakfast in Madrid. Transfer to the airport for your brief flight to Palma de Mallorca. Upon arrival, you will be met by a Bravo representative and transferred to your hotel. En route, you will see the fourteenth century Bellver Castle, and the Almudaina Palace. In the afternoon, you are free to enjoy the marvelous beaches. Dinner and lodging.
Breakfast. Leave for Manacor where the world’s most famous pearls are made. Then, on to Porto Cristo for a tour of “Las Cuevas del Drach”, an underground forest of stalactites and stalagmites. After lunch, return to Palma. Dinner and lodging.
