All Bravo programs in Spain include a full medical
and surgical insurance through the auspices of A.S.T.E.S.
(Agrupación de Seguros Turísticos Españoles).
The way it works:
a. Upon arrival at the first airport of your trip
in Spain , you will receive from the transfer person
your insurance policies.
b. The policy will also include a list of clinics
and hospitals where A.S.T.E.S. will be accepted in lieu
of payment.
c. Should you not be able to utilize an A.S.T.E.S.
affiliated facility, you must pay the hospital, doctor,
clinic, etc. directly. Upon your return to the U.S. , or
from Spain , send the original bills to A.S.T.E.S. (keep
copies for your records). In turn, A.S.T.E.S. will
refund the medical costs submitted.
d. Please keep in mind that the process for the
refund could take several months.
Travel Insurance - OPTIONAL but recommended for:
a. Trip Cancellation
b. Trip Interruption
c. Travel Delay
d. Baggage Loss and/or Baggage Delay
The application form for this insurance may be obtained
here at Travel Safe Insurance. Please remember that all
forms and premiums are to be sent directly to the
insurance company – NEVER to Bravo Tours. Please note
that some items covered by the insurance will only be
available if your premium for the insurance plan and
your enrollment form is received within 15 days of the
date your initial trip deposit is received by Bravo
Tours. It is solely the participant’s responsibility to
observe these dates. Also, please remember that
insurance premiums are non-refundable under all
circumstances, even if you, your chaperone, or Bravo
decides to cancel your trip.
