Day 1 - Departure

Evening departure. Dinner and breakfast served on board.

Day 2 - Madrid

Upon arrival, you are met by a Bravo representative and transferred to your hotel. Dinner and lodging.

Day 3 - Madrid - Royal Palace - Prado Museum

Breakfast. Morning tour including the Royal Palace and Prado Museum. In the afternoon, relax, shop, or see other places of interest. Dinner and lodging in your hotel.

Day 4 - Madrid - Toledo - El Escorial - Valle De Los Caídos

Breakfast. Morning tour of Toledo where you will visit the Cathedral, Santo Tomé Church, and see El Greco’s most famous painting, “The Burial of the Count Orgaz,” the Synagogue, Bisagra’s Gate, Alcántara’s Bridge and the Alcázar. After lunch, on to El Escorial, the 16th century monastery-palace and El Valle de los Caídos, Spain’s tribute to those who died during its Civil War. Late afternoon return to Madrid. Dinner and lodging.

Day 5 - Madrid - Lisbon - City Tour

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your brief flight to Portugal. Upon arrival in Lisbon, you will be met by a Bravo representative and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon you will discover Lisbon. A drive down Avenida da Liberdade to Rossio, the very heart of the city, and then up the hill for a stop at St. George’s Castle to have a glimpse of the old quarters, the oldest and most picturesque being Alfama. Then a drive along the riverside to admire Black Horse Square, the Bridge over the Tagus with stops at the Belem Tower and the Monument to the Discoveries. Then, you will visit the Jeronimos Monastery, a marvel of stone lacework. Afterwards, you will go to the Coach Museum where you will see the largest collection of some of the world’s finest old coaches. In the evening, you will have dinner at your hotel.

Day 6 - Lisbon - Sintra - Cabo Da Roca - Cascais - Estoril

Breakfast. Then drive along the luxuriant Sintra Mountain and its gardens to visit the charming Villa Palace. Afterwards, head for Cabo Da Roca, the western-most point of continental Europe. Lunch. Continue to the resorts of Cascais and Estoril. In the evening, you will dine at a local restaurant where you will hear the enchanting Fado music, song and dance of Portugal.

Day 7 - Lisbon - Fátima - Batalha - Alcobaça - Nazaré - Óbidos

Breakfast. Head for the world famous Shrine of Fátima. Then visit the Batalha Monastery and the 12th century Abbey at Alcobaça. Lunch in the fishing village of Nazaré. In the afternoon, you will visit the beautiful walled town of Óbidos with its picturesque streets. Late afternoon return to Lisbon. Dinner.

Day 8 - Departure

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
