Barcelona - Madrid - Lisbon

Day 1 - Departure

Evening departure on your scheduled jet flight to Spain. Dinner and breakfast will be served on board.

Day 2 - Madrid - Barcelona

Arrive Madrid and continue on your brief flight to Barcelona. Upon arrival, you will be met by a Bravo representative and transferred to your hotel. Dinner and lodging.

Day 3 - Barcelona

After breakfast a half day tour of the capital of Cataluņa. You will see its Cathedral, Gothic Quarter, Town Hall, Chamber of Deputies, and Montjuich Mountain with it's breathtaking view. Later your tour visits "El Pueblo Espaņol" to see replicas of Spain's most typical villages. In the afternoon, you will have time to visit Picasso's Museum and to walk along Las Ramblas. Dinner and lodging.

Day 4 - Barcelona - Montserrat - Zaragoza

After breakfast on to the Monastery of Montserrat. Thousands of pilgrims are attracted yearly to this religious cultural center highlighted by spectacular views and unforgettable beauty. You will enter the Monastery to see the "Moroneta" - patron saint of Cataluņa. After lunch, continue to Zaragoza for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 - Zaragoza - Madrid

After breakfast, see the Cathedral and the pilgrimage church of Nuestra Senora del Pilar. Then, on to Spain's marvelous capital - Madrid. Dinner and overnight.

Day 6 - Madrid

After breakfast, you will take a short ride through the heart of the city. Then you will visit the former residence of the Spanish Royal Family - the Royal Palace. Later, you will enter the renowned Prado Museum. In the afternoon, you may decide to see other important monuments of Madrid or to relax and shop. Dinner and overnight in your hotel.

Day 7 - Madrid - Toledo - El Escorial - Valley of the Fallen

After breakfast, you will leave for the Imperial City of Toledo. Upon arrival you will visit the Cathedral, Santo Tome Church, where they have conserved the most famous painting of El Greco, "The Burial of Count Orgaz," the Synagogue, Bisagra's Gate, Alcantara's Bridge and the Alcazar. After a stop for lunch, on to visit El Escorial - the 16th century monastery-palace commissioned by Philip II. Afterwards, your excursion continues on to El Valle de los Caidos, Spain's tribute to those who died during it's Civil War. Late afternoon return to Madrid. Dinner and lodging.

Day 8 - Madrid - Segovia - Avila - Salamanca

Breakfast. Leave for Segovia with it's still functioning Roman Aqueduct and fantastic castle. Then, onto the medieval walled city of Avila - the home of Saint Teresa. Continue to the university city of  Salamanca. Dinner and overnight.

Day 9 - Salamanca - Fatima

Breakfast. City tour of Salamanca - the "golden city" - renowned throughout the world because of the number and quality of its monuments. Salamanca's University was founded in 1240 AD and for centuries it was the cultural center of Spain. Afterwards, on to Fatima for dinner and overnight.

Day 10 - Fatima - Lisbon

After a visit to the shrine on  to Lisbon. Your afternoon city tour includes: the Belem Tower, Jeronimo's Monastery ( the burial place of Vasco da Gama), the Bull Ring, and the Avenida de Liberdade. Afternoon free. Dinner and lodging.

Day 11 - Departure

After breakfast, time for packing and transfer to the airport for your return flight.
